My hot drink of choice is usually chamomile tea but every so often I fancy something a little richer and more satisfying. This is a great little recipe to knock up when you want a quick pick-me-up or soothing brew. If you’ve introduced black pepper, you may like to add a small twist into the pan. But don’t worry if you haven’t, there are plenty of healing ingredients that are sure to do the job in next to no time.
I prefer to drink this immediately after blending but have also been known to pour some into a flask and take it out on a day trip. I love having a brisk walk, followed by a cup of piping hot golden milk once I’ve got back to the car. Call it a nice reward!
AIP Golden Milk with Orange and Dates
- Put all the ingredients, except the collagen and dates into a pan and heat until boiling point. Transfer to a blender and add the collagen and dates. Blend until smooth and frothy. Serve.
